PostStream
The PostStream page shows you the latest posts on the forum. It updates every 20 seconds and shows you posts by @atwossybookclub on the left, and posts by everybody on the right.
TweetStreams
We've tried to integrate this forum in to Twitter as much as possible. When you post on the forum you send a Tweet, which (you may have noticed) is sent as a reply to atwossybookclub but also has a unique hash tag. The hash tag (in the form #wossybc[number]) is meant so that anybody can reply to a Tweet from the book club and have it included.
Replies to a hashtag aren't included in the normal post listings, partly because it can be spammed but also because it would be pretty messy to have all those Tweets littering up posts. Instead we've called it a TweetStream and it brings together all the Tweets sent out from the forum as well as any Tweets that were written by a user on twitter.com.
To load a TweetStream just click the TweetStream link and it'll appear in a window like this. At the top of every page you'll see a link that says TweetStream too - that opens all the tweets in the TweetStream for atwossybookclub and opens in full screen, not a little window.
Finally, when you load a TweetStream you might cast your eyes upon a link to a TwitterStream. A TwtitterStream displays exactly the same content, just it uses the search.twitter.com interface and let's you see lots and lots of Tweets. TwitterStream links open in new windows.
